I tried the local Curves. I did not like it. It was very 'cliquey' and it reminded me of Junior High. I think if I went to a larger gym I would have found a different environment. I thought a women's only gym would be good because I am self conscious when I'm working out (I mean come on who isn't)?

I do love Curves...I've been a member for almost 4 years now. It's an easy but effective workout that lasts about 30 minutes. The other members are really great & we have fun while exercising! I'm the kind of person that has never liked to exercise, so finding this workout was a godsend!

Likes:
-women only, so you feel like no one is looking at you in such a way.
-its fast and easy
-i like the stops in between the machines, cause it gives a little cardio

Dislikes:
depending on the location, some curves centers dont have enough machines, so to me the workout doesnt feel like a workout

other than that, it all depends on how often you attend. it worked for me. =)
