I have been talking with this guy from work for a few weeks now. He finally asked me out and we went on a date this past Saturday. The date was alright, but he is not what I want to be dating. He already called me on Sunday, How do I tell him that I’m not interested and still talk to him at work.

There is really no "nice" way to shut somebody down. The best thing to do is to just be up front about it. That way the person will still respect u for being honest. He may be upset at first but he will eventually get over it if he is a mature individual. And u may have to go without speaking for a while but just let him know that u dont think it will work for you. Sometimes people still dont get the pic especially if they really like u they will just keep pursuing u so be prepared for that also but honesty is the best policy - good luck

just like everyone else does if they are a mature adult..say "i'll see you at work, you are a good friend and I dont want to mess that up and/or "I'm not interested in a relationship" and /or "we should just be friends" something on that order....if the person doesn't like this, too bad...
rule #1... never date someone from the workplace unless you or they are prepared to go to another job soon...
