Whenever the right time is for you. I don't think there is a specific time. Is there?

Trying to figure out when to drop the 'l-word' makes many uncomfortable, because if it is not returned, the relationship will take many awkward turns. Just remember that saying I love you has much more gravity with men than women. So, if it is still early in the relationship, hold off on using that expression for a while. When you truly feel that you know someone, you are aware of their strengths and their flaws, and you fully accept them as they are, that is a big part of love. Telling your partner you love them, should not be said simply to advance the relationship to the next phase, be sure to say it when you mean it, and mean it when you say it. Being in a relationship for a certain length of time, is not good enough reason either, the feeling will be there when the time is right.

When you really mean it, and no it won't be early on! It takes time. You may be in love with the idea of being in love, but it's not instant!
