I should imagine near anything is possible.

Talk to someone, someone with training in this field of expertise. Your doctor will be able to give you the right course of action. You will never be alone in this world, someone will always know how you feel, dont hide away, take it on and win, you know you can.

Difficult to take you seriously when your parents should have taken on board this responsibility especially as you have been hearing voices since age 6 and have self harmed since age 11.

2 months ago you were asking about self harm and that you often needed medical attention as a result. So are you saying all the people getting you that medical attention disregard your self harming - seems very difficult to believe.

I'm surprised you haven't been sectioned.

Psychiatric aid and medication available through your GP - Talk to your parents.

From my understanding it is absolutely possibly able to have those problems with no family history. First of all, you may have had family history far back and noone talked about it. Secondly, you might just have develped it on your own. It is NOT a weakness, it is a disease. What's more important than all of that is that you need to seek treatment immediately!!! If you don't have insurance I'm sure that there are plenty of clinics to help. Just sending this email out shows that you are concerned. Please take care of yourself. You have some much life left to life. Good luck.

Yep. Everyone has mental health, and sometimes (just like with our physical health) we can get sick. You can get meds to help with the visual and auditory hallucinations, and anti-depressants to help with the depression and suicidal feelings. If you are feeling actively suicidal now, please go to your doctor. It doesn't mean they'll lock you up or anything, but they can put you in touch with services and people whose job it is to help and support you. There are specialists out there who can help you deal with the self-harm, panic attacks, depression, and the voices. You're obviously intelligent enough to realise that the way you're feeling requires help of some kind. Please go and get it...it's out there. If you feel in crisi, you can always call The Samaritans on 08457 909090. It's totally confidential and nothing will ever be forced upon you. Alternatively, you can email them: jo@samaritans.org
Best of luck x

It can be formed from post traumatic stress disorder.
There doesn't always have to be a background history of it, You could just be the first unlucky one in your family.
Medication and good therapy can help.
See your doctor and explain it and ask for a referral to see a Psychologist.
If that doctor doesn't help, see another, keep getting opinions until someone helps you, this is serious.

The doctor is the first port of call i think

or if you feel better talk it through with the samaritans first.

either way there is help available but you need to make the first move to grasp it.

Good luck hunny

You MUST see your GP URGENTLY. Mental illness can strike anyone at anytime, it doesn't have to run in the family. I can't understand why no-one has helped you before. Make an urgent appointment, NOW, and good luck. You can be helped.

Yes, there are medications that can help you. Make an appointment with a psychiatrist tell him/her about the voices and visions. Do it right away

If you haven't already, you should talk to your doctor about this. If you have spoken to a doc in the past then going again will only help.
Good luck.

First, get to a doctor. The meds will be a blessing.
You might want to read a book called "Recovered not cured".
