Of course he can but that's just part of life! He has to get used to that because daddy HAS to work to take care of him. Babies are WAY smarter than grownup's give them credit for!

He knows your voices. You may call me crazy but when my second son was born he knew my older sons voice. He would try to find where the voice was coming from. Really!! no lie. So i do believe they learn to distiguish voices in the womb. They may not know "mom" "dad" "brother" but they definitely know the sound of the voice.

And yes.... they can "miss" his dads voice. But I just think he may be fussy

The first 6 months is when they form those "attachments". My son knew who his daddy is but didnt much care for him for more then a few minutes until he was about 8 months old. He's going to be 10 months in a few days and still when he's hungry, tired, thristy, or wants kisses he comes to me when he wants to sneek food daddy lets him have or to play with cars and play rough he goes to daddy

He knows both of you but is not old enough to "miss" daddy when he is at work.
