There is a prophetic statament narrated by both Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhary that tells that prophet Muhammed washed his hands, his face and his mouth in a bowl and gave that bowl to his companions (with the water still in it) and asked them to drink that water.

Does this mean that that water had some spiritual powers in it?

Did not he fear any disease transmission?

prophet Mohammed knew exactly what he was doing,

many hadith show that he followed strict hygenic procedures,
& in many other hadith he warned against transmission of diseases,
& whether the water had spiritual powers in it then did the asker forget that the prophet used to cure people with permission from God by just touching them & some even without touching, same as what jesus did.

Regardless of the accuracy of the mouthwash story, the holy Quran tells us not to be friends with Jews or Christians:
Sura 5:51: "O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your allies and protectors: They are but allies and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."

The Quran prescribes slitting the throats of unbelievers:
Sura 47:4: "Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost."
