Your local computer shop will sell you one for about $50 or less provided you can install it into the internals of your desktop computer. Just be sure to get the correct discs to burn to DVD are R- and R+ where as for CDs one type fits all.

urrmm....what do you mean by "where do i get a dvd burner?" computer shops for sure...and "convert all types of...." that's the matter of softwares, not hardwares... i suggest nero, because it's the easiest for beginners...
