anyone know the reason why the TP costs almost 2 times more than the regular superquad?

The Superquad TP and the standard head and face are actually the same size(460cc). The main difference is that the standard head is 2 - 3 degrees closed (to help prevent slicing) and the TP is square - 1 degree open (for better players who don't have a problem slicing). The other main difference is the center of gravity on the TP head is slightly higher, giving the club a slightly lower trajectory. The TP driver also comes with a stock fujikura re-ax TP shaft which you can get in 55,65,or75 grams, the standard Superquad only comes in 65 grams.
The cost reflects the limited availability and testing involved with the TP head, in addition to the fact that all TP heads are built to tour spec.
Hope this helps!

The difference is TP (Tour Preferred) face is abit smaller and weighting is distributed differently. The lofts available are also different usually with the TP starting at 8.5 and maxing at 10.5 as opposed to 9.5 maxing at about 13. Cost is due to a smaller number produced.
