My sister in law was taken to hospital on Tuesday and has been on life support ever since (she had a grade 4). She had a brain operation (clipping) on Thursday which apparently went well. The doctors are not really giving any indication on what will happen next. They are fitting a traceonctomy (bad spelling) today and plan to try and wake her tomorrow. My brother is so worried and no one knows what will happen. has anyone ever suffered from a ruptured aneurysm?

Depending on where the aneurysm was it could have different results. Aneurysms in and around the brain are less complicated the closer to the surface they are. The deeper they are the harder it is to get to them and the less successful they are. Now they will be watching the pressure in her head. If it climes too high, it could be dangers.

Good luck

A young friend of ours had an aneurysm and is ok for taking care of herself but not working. Apparently she was given med care in a timely fashion and to be thankful for that much. Take it day by day and focus on her recovery. Prayers
