religion has been declining (especially protestantism) in the west, places where man made global warming is most accepted, europe.
Scientists dont actually ALL believe in it, just the more evidence, the more funding.
the Earth is heating up, but it isnt because of CO2 emissions by humans.
the sun is burning brighter, with more sun spots, and we are emerging from a mini ice age.
al gores info was flawed
the worlds temperature fluctuates throughout history
most of the earths CO2 comes from the sea and volcanoes and biological processes.
throughout history and culture man has needed an 'end of days' prophecy. Ie armageddon, volcano gods to sacrifice to, the atomic bomb. man feels guilty, needs something in his life.
the newspapers love to scaremonger
so you carbon offset? or do you attone for your sins against the Earth God? hoping that he will not smite us all?
are people who dont believe in global warming, heathens who reject the prophets (scientists)?

I hate to say this but your information is fatally flawed.
You're right to say that not all scientists believe in global warming, just the overwhelming majority of them, most of which receive no funding at all - they're on a fixed salary regardless as to the work they're involved with. You'll find the retired scientists agree with global warming and they're on a pension so it makes no difference at all to them what they beleive in.
Sun spot activity occurs on an 11 year cycle, global warming doesn't. The heat energy received from the sun is 1366 W/m²/yr (Watts per square metre per year). The difference between maximum and minimum output is just 0.1% http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_variation , total solar variation over the last 250 years is an increase of just 0.03% http://www.grida.no/climate/ipcc_tar/wg1/fig6-6.htm
The world's temperature does fluctuate throughout history and in a very complicated way. It works on cycles within cycles within cycles within cycles. The longest of these cycles spans 50 million years and is a cooling cycle, although the world has been warming for the last 18,000 years in the larger scale of things it's actually cooling www.globalwarmingart.com/wiki/Image:65_Myr_Climate_Change_Rev_png
The seas and oceans are in equilibrium, they take in carbon dioxide and release carbon dioxide, about 2 billion tons of it a year http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/abstract/305/5682/367 not much compared to the 29 billion tons humans contribute http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/6374967.stm
Very little CO2 is produced by volcanoes in comparison to what we as humans produce. Each year mankind produces 150 times as much CO2 as all the volcanoes in all the world http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/Gases/man.html
Biological processes contribute some CO2 and quite significant amounts of CH4 (methane), a far more serious gas than CO2. But these are primarily agricultural and foresrty related so they're ultimately caused by man so they're not particularly natural.
I hope this clarifies things for you.

Global warming is the gradual increase in global temperatures that has happened over millenia - and will continue to do so, though sometimes cooling, sometimes warming.
Global warming is caused by the sun and, indirectly, by sun spot activity. As a result of global warming, the oceans release more co2 - CO2 is an indicator - or "effect" it is not a cause. This is why global warming or cooling always PRECEEDS the co2 level changes. It does NOT follow it.
Even if co2 was a cause, the oceans generate > 99% of the co2 in the atmosphere. So in reality, humans can effectively do nothing with Co2.
The myth runs on because governments around the world pour BILLIONS into research, and hundreds of thousands of jobs are at stake - ditto with many of the green charities and causes. The truth is the money is being wasted in researching solutions to problems which we caused by sunspot activity - not by the <1% of co2 that humans generate.
Prevent global warming? Find a way to control sunspot activity.
For a very interesting documentary on this - with some pretty powerful facts, watch this http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4520665474899458831&q=great+global+warming+swindle
Of course if you wish to bang on about co2 like the rest of the sheep, feel free to just give me a thumbs down and go turn a few bulbs off :)

climate replace is a actuality, this is been happening using fact the earth began. synthetic worldwide warming is extremely controversial, and isn't any way common via technology as a actuality. Ian Plimer (Professor of Earth Sciences at Adelaide Uni) has written an in depth and suited e book debunking the evidence for guy-made worldwide warming that has been given via climate replace scientists. some factors of his e book have been disputed via scientists. The earth has been cooling for the final decade (scientists agree in this). we additionally are at the instant in an ice age, so warming is to be anticipated faster or later. A small carbon tax has a thoroughly insignificant effect on carbon emissions. If we'd choose to cut back emissions (this is nonetheless very doubtful whether this is sensible or no longer) we ought to continuously be employing nuclear potential, dramatically reducing international inhabitants enhance via any perfect ethical potential obtainable, and adopting mass transport.

Interesting question. One thing that the channel4 documentary brought up that I never thought of is that weather is caused by temperature differences between the poles and the tropics. So if global warming causes this temp difference to be less, there will be less extreme weather, not more. I think the global warming thing is reaching hysterical proportions. Personally, I'm much more worried about the oil supply running out, which is definitely going to happen.

Its the new fear thing. Man always need something to fear. God, Communism, Nuclear War,Y2k and now global warming.
From my limited knowledge of Geological history if the Global Climate is changing there is very little we can do about it so buy property on a hill!
