I am currently prescribed to adderall, and it makes me not hungry, so i dont know if i should force myself to eat so that i dont go into starvation mode. I am also trying to lose weight. Should i force myself to eat even if i am not hungry (to keep my metabolism up) or should i just not eat because i am not hungry. I am trying to lose the most weight possible. What should i do???

Even if you are not hungry, you still need to eat for several reasons:
1. to maintain health
2. to prevent "starvation mode"
3. to avoid lowing of immunity
4. to prevent vitamin and mineral deficiencies

Even if you are happy about losing weight because you want to lose weight, you need a minimum calorie intake of 1200 calories per day (when losing weight, it is recommended to follow a 1200 or 1500, sometimes 1800 calorie diet....depending how much weight you need to lose). However, you should never consume less than 1200 calories as that is the minimum needed to sustain health, metabolism and normal body functioning.

Yes, you should make yourself eat something so that you do not cause your body to enter "starvation mode." You need to eat in order to keep your body functioning at its best and to keep your metabolism up and working like it should. I recommend visiting a nutritionist or finding information about eating healthy and naturally. Try making it a point to eat a mixture of protein and carbohydrates each time you have a meal. I recommend whole grains, vegetables, fruits, low-fat cheese, yogurt, lean meats, etc. These foods will provide nutritional value and will help keep extra pounds off. And don't forget to exercise a little each day.
Good luck & take care!
