Your question is partly answered by your own explanation: when you say 'when you get a little nervous...my chest gets all flushed-red.....I can feel my heart beating....my hands will shake a little bit'. These signs are manifestations of our emotions: for example when we are nervous, angry or excited about something, etc. And, this is natural. Some people are even worst when they feel nervous - the whole body trembles, including the legs and knees. I think you shouldn't be too worried about that. You are normal. When you get acquainted to your own emotions, you will feel at home with yourself and even grateful that you are fully alive!
I was terribly nervous when I was a child - to the point that I could hardly read a short paragraph in class. But I learned how to control myself just by accepting my own self. Even today as an adult I still feel very nervous when I stand in front of a small group of people. I feel very nervous but to the people around I look very calm. Enjoy life!

The redness is most likely due to the rapid heart rate. The faster your heart beats the faster the blood flows... Your best bet would be to try some relaxation techniques to use when you are in public that might help keep your heart rate down.

Binnus is correct. This is who you are. Relaxation techniques would definitely help because this sounds like some panic disorder/anxiety. You may also break out in hives because you are in a "difficult situation." You are not abnormal. Just try to relax.
