the hate and insults and harm we do to others is actually how we feel about our maker. the hate comes from within our own selves, so when we hurt others we are hurting ourselves as well. because we all have a conscience, when its good we feel good about ourselves, when bad, we feel bad about ourselves. we are all given a conscience inside of us, and know when we hurt others. so when we hurt others we are hurting ourselves as well.
