Christians- before you die do you have to have a right standing with God 100% to enter Heaven?

If I was confident of entering Heaven I will not be scared to die, except the proccess of it. At the moment I am scared of dying as I do not want to go to hell. A few days ago I were not scared to die at all as I was confident of knowing where I will be going. I love Jesus so much and the Father, but I am not cofidient of Heaven like I were a few days ago or even a few weeks ago. I just got over bowel cancer as God did heal me from that, but I now face a new delema. A doctor today and I too found a lump a size of a pea in my neck, and it is very painful, expecially when I lift my head up.I am on antibiotics and they are not working for the first time. I have no sore throat, or fever, but I feel like I burn up sometimes for no reason and tonight I had a dry cough at my mothers house. My glands are a bit swollen but a lump was found in my neck today, which is very painful. So Chrisitans if it is serious and it might not be but if it is I want a right standing with God, because when I had

bowel cancer I had a lot of unforgivniess in my heart and I am now God saved me as I would have probably gone to hell. I know have another chance to get right with God exlpecially if this is serious. Leanne , earlier today i sent you a personal email, apologizing for our butting of heads and offered to help you overcome your hatred that is so deeply instilled in your heart. I have not heard back from you. I see though from this question that you have realized you are not being very christian-like. and are worried that you will end up in hell. but as soon as that was said you then went and told lies again in the same question, and posted other hate filled questions!You have to be consistent Leanne.You cannot expect your god to forgive you over and over on a minute by minute basis! God forgives those who know no better, but you do! I do not share your belief in hell Leanne, i do not think that a loving compassionate god would allow people to be forsaken for the silliest of reasons... I think you have been taught a very evil form of Christianity, and it would not offend god if you looked elsewhere( to your mother) before deciding what you believe...dose the bible not say seek and ye shall find? Yes, it sounds as though you may be sick---- and it might be serious, might not be. But the fact is...none of us are going to get out of here alive!

I agree with that other guy--- just relax. You are saved, it is all true. (otherwise you wouldn't even care.... remember that verse about "He who has ears to hear..." Some people do, some don't. And it's clear you have been given ears to hear.) So just rest and relax in the fact that you are one of God's own.

You do have "right standing" with God as a Christian. He looks down and sees "Perfect You"....but only because of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. Not because of anything you are, or anything you can do. There is *nothing* you can do to make God love you more.

And no, you will never be "100% or good enough" this side of paradise---it's simply not possible for sinful human beings to "earn" Heaven. We just can't.

I am sure it's a trick of the devil to give us fear and worry, especially over our physical health (remember the devil is "the Author of Confusion") but also remember you are in the hands of the Great Physician and "perfect love casts out fear."

That doesn't mean our "perfect love" of Jesus (because we're not even very good at that!) but the fact that He is perfect love Himself, and when we call on Him he is "strong to save."

"Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

You will be fine. You will be more than fine. When you have Jesus, you have everything. Don't trust in your *feelings* because they blow all around like the wind, especially when we are stressed. Turn to the Good Book, where God reveals himself to us, and get some real Truth on board so you can fight against the Dark One, who enjoys your worry, especially your worry over your salvation.

I know you have no reason to trust what I am saying, as you don't know me, but it is all right there in the Bible.

Salvation is a gift.

...slow down... relax... Salvation is a gift of God... it's His gift to you... Stop with all the Christian "stuff"... anyone can be saved... Jew, Gentile, Muslin, Atheist, Democrate, Republican... take it easy... fear does not come from God.
It's simple... Gods Word says... believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved... now, that doesn't mean to be a Sunday Saint and a Monday "ain't"... God forbid... but call out to God and talk with Him... if you've got "crap" in your spirit... tell Him... Why are you questioning your faith in God?

IF you deep down, in your heart believe in Him, His Word, and His Son Jesus Christ; you will be given eternal life. This is a Promise from Our Heavenly Father to You!

The only thing that can ever keep you from entering His Presence is non-belief of His Son Jesus Christ; because it is through His blood that you are more than able to gain forgiveness for all sins.

By simply confessing them to God, asking for His forgiveness, and having confidence in His Holy Word; that He Will not just forgive. But, will place all those sins as far away from His presence as He can.

This is 'right standing with God', that you are confident in His Word and have faith in your heart; KNOWING that nothing on this planet can separate you from Him.

You are His Beloved Child and because of your faithful adherence to His Almighty Word; He will reward you! Again, that is HIS PROMISE TO YOU.

Be bold in your confidence of Him, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God's everlasting-never-changing Word; He is not a liar!

I don't think you need to fear what's going to happen after death, I imagine wherever we go is where we came from before birth. I don't necessarily believe in hell, even if you've done bad things in life. I think the idea is to try and do what you feel is right in life. So many people talk about learning from the hardships they've experienced, it just seems to make sense to me that we experience them because we learn from them.

I truly don't believe that God gave you cancer to be malicious either. I think after we die, the things that seem so horrible in our physical lives will take on new meaning.

My dear friend, I am sorry for your fear. Remember, Satan uses our weakest points in order to bring fear and confusion.

What you need to do is simple: go down onto the floor in humility, which Satan detests, and call on our Lord Jesus Christ. Talk to Him instead of talking on this site my friend. Ask Him to show you where in your life you still need healing, and what you still need to confess as sin.

Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. Remember that He loves you more than anyone can ever love you, and He is waiting for your tears and for your call to Him.
