When you are at work concentrate on work only. When you are NOT at work concentrate on play/family/home only.

Don't co mingle.

Good thought. I feel if you are happy with your family / social life you can perform your best at work and similarly if you good relations established at work, if you are happy with your work profile then you would be returning home with smile on your face. So both are important to keep each other going happily. However, to strike a balance, important thing is to set priority. If you know whats more important for you, you would never get disbalanced. And of course the family should be the first priority as , remember who are we working for , are we not working for the well being of our family ??

You have taken a good decision to strike a balance b/w ur social and work life, coz if these are in imbalance then our third life i.e., internal life is also disturbed n which creates chaos in our life!

U shld try to follow these lines:

"Work while u work and,
Play while u play"

Both lifes are equally important in our life one gives us financial support and other gives us mental support and both are interrelated and interconnected. If ur social life is disturbed then it'll become impossible for u to maintain the other.

U shld try to remain cool by not bringing the work tentions at home and vice versa. U shld try to remain happy and calm ur mind off the tentions.
U shld neither neglect work for family and nor family for work. U shld consider both of them equally important.
If u concentrate whole on ur family then how will u be able to feed them and if u concentrate whole on ur work then u can be on the brink to lose ur family.
So a balance can be maintained by sharing some good and light moments with ur family and dedicating completely or at least partially to them when at home.

You are at work. Concentrate upon that day's work and tomorrow's plan in your work alone. Never think of social gathering or social functions at work place. Next, have corelation during week-end and differentiate between work life and social life. Sometimes this confusion make you imbalance in your thoughts and you lost interest and concentration on necessary events are kept aside. Do not give a way to such things.

Keep up the good work !!!!!
Only thing to remember is that dont get upset if u realise/think that one life is gettting more imp. than the other at certain times..... Its bound to happen ; but ignore the exceptions and carry on maintaining a balance nevertherless.

Forget it ! Pick one or the other and let it be your number 1 priority. But! put your social life ahead of your work. At the end of work, you walk out and are forgotten, and the end of your family life you leave a legacy. I am not saying to end your work life, but always put your family life ahead of it. If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, put your family and social life first, but give 100% of the rest of your time to your career.

Social Life is a free life whereas work life has lots of commitments.
Social life is useful to change the society for their betterment whereas work life you have to satisfy your boss superiors often anybody in your work place. If you don't have talent you lose your work and money whereas in social life you dont lose job or work.

well, work is something that everybody ought to do ...but socializing is the innate need that crops up itself in every human...
whether u work or not ...u gotta socialize...

n balancing them!!!
well although that depends on person to person but still here are some rules...

1) make sure u dont mix them both...i mean dont discuss work with friends unless n until they also share the same job....

2)donot neglect friends...make sure you dont show them you are too busy to attend them...

3)when you are not working then plan out for some outings with friends...

4)give your 100% to your work...your friends will respect you only when you respect your work ...

5)donot b absent for too long...absentism for a long time will make them(ur frnds) use to living without you...

6)and hey most importantly be yourself..whether at work or with friends...

hey try out for urself...hope it works!!
gud luck!!
