First unzip all the fonts to a single folder.
Then press ctrl+A. All the files will get selected.
Now go to edit menu and click on copy.
Now go to control panel. There you will find an icon named "fonts". open it.
Now go to edit menu and click on paste. it will install all the fonts on your system.
To use them in wordpad:
open wordpad. from there search for and select the font you wish to use. alternatively you can type the name of the font in the font selection box and press enter.

(...have you just downloaded fonts and you see it as zipped files instead?)

Anyways, If you are using windows, its easy to install a font and make it work with a text editor (e.g. word pad, MS Word, Open Office word, etc).

If ever a font file is inside a zipped file, unzip it first.
If you're using XP its easy, just double-click on the zip file, browse on its contents, look for the font file (usually has an icon that resembles uppercase letter T or letter O), select it, copy, then paste in a dummy folder outside the zipped file.
That's how to unzip in XP.

In older versions of Windows you may need to install WINZIP or other unzipping software.

After you got the font file(s), you need to put it in the place where Windows want it to be.

There are some options.

1) You can right click on the font file and select Install this font if ever it has that option.

2)If you cannot do option one (1) then you need to go to Control Panel >> Fonts. Open the Fonts folder and then drag-drop-yup!

3)Go get some font installer software like this....
