Astronomers, a few decades earlier, they described, how the universe came into existence - They call it the ‘Big Bang’.
And they said… ‘Initially there was one primary nebula, which later on it separated with a Big Bang, which gave rise to Galaxies, Stars, Sun and the Earth, we live in.’
This information is given in a nutshell in the Glorious Qur’an, in Surah Ambiya, Ch. 21, Verse No. 30, which says “Do not the unbelievers see… ‘That the heavens and the earth were joined together, and we clove them asunder.’
Imagine this information which we came to know recently, the Qur’an mentions 14 hundred years ago.

A Catholic Priest who held a PHD in Physics postulated it began with the Primordial atom which exploded by fusion and space began to expand and mass was released in the form of hot plasmic electrical charges of postive and negative along with neutral bits of mass and as this cooled hydrogen formed, clusted, became stars and galaxies and as smaller sections cooled more complex elements on the period chart formed including iron, oxygen, nitrogen, etc.
The Priest predicted background cosmic radiation and that stars and galaxies were moving away. Hubble discovered the red shift of movement away and Bell labs discovered the background 4 degree kelvin signature of gamma radiation many years later, giving credibility to this postuatlion.
Two other scientists separately came up with most or part of the same math equation that shows an expanding universe.
Thus giving all of this scientific credibility.
That Catholic Church has no problems with the postuation, which explains the PHYSICS behind the process of creation.
That is HOW things came about.
The crux of debate is by WHAT or WHOM.
Religion says it was an eternal being called God that provided the mass and generated the fussion that resulted in the mass and matter.
Randomists say the universe did this on it's own automatically with no willful intent. It just happened as a result of the laws of gravity and physics and goes in a never ending cycle of expansion and contraction and that the Earth's creation was pure Serendipity.
Newton and Einstein, two of the greatest thinkers of modern times, did not subscribe totally or even partially to the Randomistic theories. Both believed in a God of one form or another and felt the universe had to have an intellence at work behind it all. Neither could see it as being accidential or randomly formed.
As for the formation of the Earth, the Genesis description given above doesn't conflict with science to any degree.
As hydrogen clusted and cooled more complex materials were formed. Because the Earth was so small the hydrogen couldn't manfest as a star, like the sun, so it cooled RAPIDLY creating complex elements and the exterior cooled into a solid crust of various compounds. As it cooled gases trapped around the Earth condensed and formed into liquid water and steam gasses and as those steam gasses cooled further layers of atomosphere were created from heavy to lighter gases going outwards and heat from the sun started a water cycle that made clouds.
The scientific how is not far off from the Biblical how.
Science can't truly explain HOW water or The Oxygen Nitrogen "air" actually formed.
Science can't really MAKE water by combinging Hydrogen and Oxygen.
Somehow this was either "created" by intellegence or formed from some process of chemistry NOT YET DISCOVERED.
The process of making Water and Air is still a vastly unknown process, which is WHY we will have problems colonizing Mars and the Moon.
We can just take rocks and get water from them like Moses did.
We will have to DRAG IT UP from the Earth, thus WATER and AIR will be stolen from the Earth to be Given to the Moon and Mars, until some day when the Chemists learn how to MANUFACTURE this from inorganic or semi-organic compounds.
They have to "make" air and water from rocks and soil on Mars, something there is pleanty of, but know one knows yet how to do that economical or in vast quanitities.

Isnt it obvious its part of the universe. So the question is how did the universe get created. Well you have the big bang theory or in religous circles the big sneexe theory. God was obviously just blowing his nose which then gives us an understanding of why if god created us he pays no attention to us at all.

Another intelligence maybe, incomprehensible, but I doubt that God in the Bible made it because I have read it and can't realize how He made it when there's billions of trillions of things floating around the Universe, taking to account the other species, "UFO"s, aliens, blah blah.. When you study carefully about the Universe you'll be amazed how wonderful it is.
When you want to know how World Created you must first ask how Universe exist.

I was always taught the Big Bang Theory - but I believe that all things in the physical world are a part of God, and it's all connected to God, so really, though I believe in evolution and all that science jazz, it's all created through, and part of, God. :)

The Bible says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. He could have used the Big Bang theory to do it.

Current science has it that the solar system condensed from a cloud of gas and dust which was the remnants of a previous supernova.
