Without a so much as a second thought! I have done a lot of wildlife rescues including some pretty formidable animals like Leopard Seals. I do it willingly, and gladly, and I don't think it would be the worst thing to have on one's epitaph.

I'd even give up my own life for a dog, im a very big dog lover

Yes I would do that won't think about it 2.
My dog will save my life without thinking must he attack this person that is hurting me or not? I don't think so the dog will attack faster than you can will say help to your dog.

If the dog was suffering, then absolutely. It's just a stupid finger.... unless it was your thumb... that might be inconvenient but still my answer is YES. And I'd do it for my cat, too. ;)

I would cut them all off if it meant saving my dogs, I would give up my very life for the lives of my animals. They are my life without them I have nothing.
