Of course it may collapse, Even if they (Aliens) don't speak of religion, it may still collapse.
There are no aliens in the bible, and bible is the basis of one's religion of what it must thought to its followers. Priest read bible in the mass, every catholic read bible. If there are aliens landed, we'll gonna realize how God fools us that there are other creation from other planets.

Come on, the major religions are so righteous the aliens would immeadiately be classed as non-believers, infidels, blasphemous. The Jehovah's Witnesses would have a field day trying to convert the little green b@@@@@ds.
Beam me up Scotty!

No. Mainstream Religions would swear the aliens were demons, come to deceive us all and take us to hell to burn for eternity.
It's things like this that make me wonder how they can not see why so many of us Non's can't view these Mainstream Religions as Loving, Just, Merciful, etc....

Aliens wouldn't arrive without a system of authority and therefor refuse God. If they were anti God they would have already destroyed earth or at least have ate all the pies.

Pilots land planes, pilots are well educated, well educated people are likely to be Atheist. Religion is collapsing, church attendance in the US is steady going down. Islamic sects are killing each other. Yes religion is slowly but surly collapsing.

No. The same questions would be put to them and they must provide TOTAL answers.
Where the MASS of the universe came from in SOLID terms, not vague side steps.
How, exactly, the perpetual motion machine of the universe works. HOW electronic particles become MANIFESTED as individual elements.
They would have to provide SOLID, CONCRETE evidence and solutions.
Anyone who has no such answers, generally turns to Religion to help justify and balance out the world. You can't have loose ends!
