Generally for an approximately 2 year old Pekingese dog, it would take a couple of days to get accustomed to your home conditions. Moreover, though active, he definitely needs a good breathing time to make himself comfortable about his intakes at your home! Some dogs in this condition could first be tried with just some milk with plain cakes sprinkled all over the milk. You would be successful in the first 2 attempts itself, once he starts liking the smell of the cake.

Then you could try on him some good slimy curd rice with some chicken-Pedigree. All dogs are fond of chicken based Pedigree, if not you could put him just on Pedigree made with milk & vegetables.

If all these don’t work, taking the pet to a good Veterinarian, who would give a good deworming shot will definitely work ! Wish you the best of luck!!

Do you have the contaminated food from the dog food recall this weekend? Many dogs refused to eat it and the dogs were right.

Try giving her some cooked hamburger. About the tumor... best to check with the vet... may be you will get lucky and it will not be serious.

I have had two Pekingese. The are the most wonderful dogs. Very smart and beautiful. The are Chinese royalty. They look like little lions.

Good Luck and Congratulations on your new pet.

God Bless.

A dog that is in a new environment usually will not eat for a few days. It may also be due to the tumor. Please take her to a vet immediately. Her not defacting in a couple days is really not a good sign. Healthy dogs will go every day. She needs medical attention.

I would take the dog to the vet and get the health of the dog checked out and see if there is a microchip to track down who owned the dog.
A healthy dog food to feed the dog is innova, solid gold, california natural, canidae, **** van pattens formula or wellness. These are a few really good dog foods that would be healthy for it. The foods you buy at your local grocery walmart and even the vets office are all junk foods with fillers and ingrediants not good for the dog.

I have raised dogs most of my life .I suggest taking this dog to a vet if you can't afford one try the SPCA the will help.Try feeding her warmed can dog food if she doesn't eat that try milk gravy. But I still suggest
you get her checked out by a vet so you will know about any medical needs the dog might have

Not eating could be a sign of many different things. Drinking water is important because it keeps their kidneys working properly. My advice is to have her checked out by a
Vet as soon as possible. If she is sick he will help you. If she isn't, he will advise you based on his exam.

Go to a dog site and find which type of food should be given to that breed.

She'll die if she doesn't go to the bathroom or if she doesn't eat. Give her boiled white rice with chicken broth in it. Make it warm, but not too hot. Rice should help her go to the bathroom.

she needs to see a vet asap!!! They will be able to tell you what foods to give her and get her medical help she needs it too. If she is not eating they might want to keep her untill she does eat on her own.
