I have a 2 year old and I think hes ready. He will come to us and say *poop* meaning he just did a potty and he will bring a diaper for us to change him. How do I do it? I have a 4 year old and she was really easy but I am not sure on how to train a boy. My husband is gone 14 hours a day at work so I will not be getting any help from him. Any tips, advice and person expieriance would help please!!

Girls are definatly easier thats for sure!! My boys took longer to grasp the idea, and I had no male figure to help. Its pretty much the same as a girl, just set them on the toilet but be sure to teach them to hold "It" down or it will spray them in the face. I was worried about teaching them to pee like men, standing up and what not, but then it dawned on me, they are too short at that age to stand and pee anyway. So it just kind of works out and eventually they began to stand once they grew.

I had three daughters then a son - and I thought I would be doomed trying to potty train him, but it ws actually the same. I taught him sit and tuck first, and then when he was a little bigger Daddy taught him the stand and aim (as much as any boy/man aims! lol )

Remember at 2 he may be aware of what he is doing, but not yet able to control it. I went right to underwear and dedicated a solid week to not having anything planned, so that dealing with a few accidents wouldn't be a problem. Good Luck!

it also comes in a BOYS one.

its great its all about one one potty training all the stages going and getting undies and a potty, doing wees and poos, drying and washing hands.
my daughter loves it.
it also has stickers and a chart to mark of how good they have been a real must get book.

My son was far easier than my daughter he was 1 1/2yrs old. There was nothing to it he watched his dad use the restroom and than he was doing it to but he wanted the big potty. My daughter was terrified of the potty. So she was at least 2 1/2 yrs old.
