You must not dwell on it too much. Don't pressure yourself to get over it and move on happily. Let your heart grief for a while and then start getting back on track! Get involved in sports, learn a new language, indulge in a new hobby. Go out and meet new friends or reunite with old friends.
Time heals all wounds. It may take some time to forget someone special, but just think of it as an experience that made you a stronger and better person. Everything happens for a reason and though we don't know what it is at the moment, the realization would come to you one day.

Try out some new things that u've never done before. Meet new ppl, play new sports. go to new places... I mean, just refresh urself. You will find that life isnt just him or her.
Getting over a relationship is hard, but not too hard. What u need now is a true best friend and a lot of time. Trust me, I was in that case before, felt too sad and broken inside. But I still recover after all and get on my new life. And I feel very happy now with my future ^^

You can't forget the past, you have to learn and grow past it. You can not dwell on it, it will only make you bitter. Find what it is you want out of life and what you are passionate about. Go and and track it down and set goals for yourself. Go traveling. Gather your friends around you and have a good time. Go out on light and fun dates. Find out who you are. Realise that you are strong, worthy and resilient. Eventually you will be grateful for the time you had with that person, and look back with fondness. It will shape the person you are going to be.
Onwards and upwards. Strive to be happy. It won't fall in your lap, go out there and make decisions that are positive.

Anyone who breaks your heart only makes you stronger and more aware of what you won’t put up with in a relationship. Don’t taint all with the same brush as the one who hurt you, but learn from the experience and try and fall for a different type of person next time.
