My friend is going crazy out of frustration with one of those really painful, slooow growing spots right on the tip of her nose. It is her 30th birthday this weekend and she really doesn't want a big red nose on her night out! she thinks she needs to squeeze it out, though as yet nothing is coming out it is still just red and painful. I think it is not too late to get it to go away. have tried tea tree oil and steaming the skin, but these things seem to have had no impact. But any suggestions on how to make the big zit retreat would be appreciated! Thanks

Tell her not to squeeze it until it's formed a head and then squeeze it gently. Keep the area clean and keep putting tea tree oil it with a cotton swab. Some spots are really stubborn and it sounds inflamed so keep it clean and tell her not to pop it until it's white on top and then get the bugger LOL.

Never squeeze it she will just have to wait longer for it to heel up after its gone. Squeezing damages the skin. Theres a cram you can get from Boots called ACT it draws a spot out without squeezing try it.

keep up with the tea tree oil, trust me it works after a few days, tell her not to try squeezing it, it makes it worse, try alternating hot and cold flannels on the area, really hot, then really cold, it will draw it out more

Tell her to go to bed with some toothpaste on it, might sound daft but it does work. Do it for a couple of nights and she'll find it's a lot better.
