How do i find out if i have a new format dvd player?

The latest DVD formats are HD DVD and Blu-ray. If you have one of these there should be some kind of logo on the DVD player. I think you would know if you had one of these though as they are uber expensive!

if you are asking you do not,

it would say on it either HD-DVD or Blu-Ray DVD

Lg just made one that will do both, it is 1199

HD are around 500 and blu-rays are around 900,

and PS3 will run Blu-ray
