If it's possible for you, try to give your hair a break from daily heat processing. That's the biggest problem. There are great moisture conditioners out there that can help, and smoothing creams can make the split ends less noticable by making the hair appear smooth and softer, but the damage will continue with daily hot ironing. For an extreme moisture treament, you can use pure olive oil, saturate your hair well and let it soak in well. Olive oil is better than store hot oil treatments any day. Use once a week. And you really need to get a heat styling protector spray! Their listed as hot iron sprays, heat protectors, protective styling mist, etc. If you do nothing else, invest in that, it can help with that heat damage a bit. VO5 makes one. Matrix and Redkin do also. Try to be nice to your hair! Let it rest! Good luck.

use a proper hairbrush for your hair. Brush your hair before you get in the shower so it's easy to brush through when you come out. And, brush nicely! Other than that, the only way to get rid of them once you get them is to cut em off!
