I have not had family doc but have had been seeing pain dr and she is retired now and i have no dr every dr i see says no way they cant help i have 2 many medical problems I think they just don't whta the work or 2 give pain meds for i hurt daily think about it if u fell daily 4-5 x a day and ur body banged off everything and u would hit the floor hard no 1 2 help u i can't live with this pain and daily seizures. I live in Oshawa onatrio but will travel up 2 1-2 hours 4 a doctor is there some1 who can maybe please help me i have tried 56 new dr's and alll say no case to much work!

Sorry to hear of your situation I have had a couple of my doctors retire or move in the past 30 years. I am surprised that your former doctor didn't refer you to a new doctor and I am surprised that doctors in Canada can refuse to see a patient since it is socialized medicine.
My only thought is to contact what ever is the appropriate regulatory authority in Canada that oversees physicians and see if they can refer you to a doctor in your area and to seek information regarding why 56 doctors being paid by your taxes can refuse you needed medical service.

I would start with a primary care physician. Since I am in the U.S. I don't know how hard they are to find. The drs that you have gone to were they all Pain Management drs or other types of specialists?
You mentioned that you have seizure issues, are you under the care of a neurologist right now for them?

I am so sorry you are suffering so much. I cannot help as I live in England; I realise how lucky we are to have the NHS.
I do hope you can find a doctor soon.
