a promise that contains the word "later" or "after" is an empty promise....
tell him that you wont buy it and that he is to at least begin trying to quit now... its best to get him to quit all together tho, because he may being to try and go back to old habits once you are married
marriage can sometimes act as a "free pass" for certain people, they think that "okay now were married so all those habits or things i was embarrassed about before i can do again because.. well were married"
make sure he knows that this is not the case

LOL tell him if he loves he will show you by stopping smoking now this is just an excuse since after marriage ill stop this and that so why not before if he loves you so when he says that you say if you love me right now stop smoking if he does then even after marriage he will stop smoking if not forget it its an excuse

Are you joking? If he had any intentions of quitting, he would be trying right now.
I am a smoker, and I know how hard it is to quit. I have promised myself and others, but I just haven't been able to do it. I really wanted to keep my promises, I just fell victim to my addiction!!
He will quit when he is ready, not a minute before that, regardless of what you want him to do.

If is really love you he will stop smoking right now,if he cant let smoking now it will not cant let then after married! Or maybe his thinking after that you don't have what to do him...!!!???

My gf has never asked me to stop smoking, but it would be nicer for her if i did. We've agreed that if we had children then i would stop for sure and i completely mean that and WILL stick to it. So i guess if he sounds sincere about it, dont doubt him

u can believe him if u want to...but i think....naaaaa...if he wanna stop, he will stop NOW!...why he wanna wit until u both are married?...owh, maybe its just an excuse so that u will marry him?maybe..who knows?
ps: tips- write a fake letter from a doctor that says hes only gonna live for a month due to disease from his smoking habit...u'll see how fast he will stop smoking!..or maybe he takes more becoz he couldnt care less...(just kidding) lol....

i stoped smoking byh switching to skoal. it really helped my breathing and was twice as tasty and loved it better thancigs except one hing . skoal is at leas hard to quit as cigs. dilemma. dman that is life. hell, i say switch him to skoal long cut and he will be hooked in no ime. afte a couple of years ask me how to quit skoal. that is tricky. but better off than cigs. plus you don;t have to smell he smokes. makes me sick now. won't have i from anyone. horrible habilt. skoal smells good like a minty mouth wash if they don't load up too much hell he will et to believing he is a cowbody even a bull rider. will need some wrangle jeans and a stetson. mke i a fun cange.

yea once u see he is making an effort but it's hard to quit smoking though. it wont just happen over night it'll take some time.

Why is he waiting until your married.....The way to look at it is see if he actually doesit and if he doesn't it might be a preview of the rest of your marrage which is a lot of broken promises

He may try to but its not the most important thing on his mind at the moment. Maybe he will give it a serious shot after the wedding but dont be too hard on him!
