I could not believe the love I felt the moment the DR. put the little human in my arms. What also surprised me was the deep protective feeling I got just from looking at my kids. They are 11 and 9 now, and I still can not believe how much love I feel, and how protective I feel over them. They are the most amazing and adventurous events of my life. I still hold them close for a moment every day when I drop them off at school. My 9 yr old son said that his best friend told him, I wish my mom would hug me! I suppose what really surprised me was how blessed I felt to have 2 wonderful children.

How fast the time went! My oldest son turned 30 this year and my 22 year old daughter just gave birth to my first grandchild. When a baby is born a parent looks ahead and thinks " i am responsible for this person for the next 18 years--God! That's a long time." But when you get there you wonder where the hell did the time go.

My first child was an accident. I was doing my PhD and wasn't ready to have a child. I was 25. My boyfriend (my husband now) was much more excited than me. People thought that I would give up my studies and stay home with the baby. I felt that my life was over, my dreams were over.
But hey, I haven't given up mu studies. I finished my PhD while having my wonderful daughter. It wasn't easy but manageable. I could not do it without my husband's help.
Right now, I am so happy that this accident has happened. I cannot imagine life without them (have 2 daughters now).

As if I live my life all over with them. I feel so young all the time. And, I followed all my dreams with them and still following.

You find that your child wears better clothes than you do.
when you do have a nite out you think wow wonder how they are doing
And when they get older you wind up doing school projects and think im getting paid back for all the hard work my parents did for me. ( at least spend alot of time helping with the projects)
Mother of four. Recently lost a baby girl and i am still learning. Recently learned children are their own little person no other child can replace them. A parents love never stops.

What shocked me the most after starting to be a figure replaced into the conception of the awsome volume of duty that's. earlier having little ones, i imagine maximum folk see having little ones as being a lovable, cudly, all round healthful journey - you carry this lovable cudly newborn homestead from the well being facility, you feed it a bltle each each now and then, replace some diapers, practice it off, watch it strengthen, play with it, take it to varsity, watch performs they're in volunteer for sophistication activities and then deliver them off to varsity after commencement day. Nope. incorrect. Reallity struck me like a brick wall the day my daughter replaced into born. the actuality is is that you're responsible for raising and training and nurturing someone. in the first week i replaced into wondering "What replaced into I wondering" Up all hours of the evening with a screaming fussy infant and all hours of the day too, the cost and fee, the shortcoming of sleep, and then at the same time as they become older, that's always attempting to coach them correct from incorrect, training them a thanks to communicate, study, hues stupid songs, having to self-discipline them at the same time as they favor to be disciplined (it truly is the hardest section for me), helping and training them each step of ways... You now no longer have any "you" time. no more beneficial goign out with acquaintances and regrettably, maximum of your those who do not have young ones do not want to loaf round with you anymore because they don't realize the concept of attending to locate a babysitter and being homestead at a lifelike hour, nor do they prefer coming over for the evening because they can't look to understand the habit kinds of a 2 year old... lol. yet, that's the most superb maximum expensive journey in the finished international and that i love it, responsiblility or no... i'd not provide it up or commerce it for some thing... sturdy question and robust success... you'll love being a mommy... guaranteed!

I never imagined how much happiness I would feel by being a dad. Whether its watching my son play hockey ( and he's damn good!), my daughter's guitar lessons, or whenever one of them hugs me and says "I love you Daddy", the feeling of being a proud dad is indescribable. One other thing I was surprised at is how upset I become when one of them gets hurt. My son broke his arm last year and, although he was a brave and strong, I was a mess. I don't think there is anything better than being a dad!

How easy the love flows. I always worried when I was young that if I had a baby I might night love it. Silly, I know, but I was never one for holding babies or really into kids. It's amazing how strong the feeling of love is for your child.

You really feel great being a parent. Looking at your own kid growing from birth till grown up. when u tired, they can really make you smile. No matter how much rough patches you going through now, having them beside you. Watching them grow can really touch your heart on how much your parents actually done to make you who are today.

I HAVE 2 KIDS. WHEN MY SON WAS BORN, I THOUGHT I COULD NEVER LOVE ANYTHING OR ANYONE AS MUCH AS HIM. WHEN WE HAD OUR DAUGHTER, I REALIZED I WAS WRONG. WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS, YOU DON'T DIVIDE YOUR LOVE, YOU MULTIPLY IT. I DIDN'T HAVE A BAD CHILDHOOD OR ANYTHING, BUT I JUST WASN'T AS ATTACHED TO PEOPLE LIKE OTHERS WERE. WHEN I WAS PREGNANT AND FELT THEM MOVING AROUND BOTH TIMES I FELT AS THOUGH I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO GO ON IF SOMETHING HAPPENED. NOW MY SON IS 5 AND MY DAUGHTER IS 1, AND NOT A DAY GOES BY THAT I DON'T THANK GOD FOR THEM. I CAN'T HUG KISS OR HEAR THEM LAUGH ENOUGH. I'M SO BLESSED.
