I would only recommend downloading music from limewire, not programs. If you want software, or games, download a client like BitComet, BitTornado etc.. Go to sites like mininova, bitenova, bitsoup, torrentportal, meganova, piratebay, torrentreactor...lots of free goodies. Its technically illegal, but what isnt??

All those softwares are dangerous to download with the viruses running around

Also remember NEVER download a .exe file.
Always confirm the file sizes.
And always have your antivirus software running when you download so it can catch a problem, and even manually scan the files before launching an install.
I prefer zips and rars so i can download safely then scan the contents...unless i'm after media like .mp3's then i just preview play while its downloading to confirm its ok and what i want
