I can understand it may give you comfort to hear good things about your daughter, but just because it makes you feel good to believe in it doesn't mean it's true.

Do an internet search on 'cold reading' and then decide if you want to go back'.
Cold reading, in short, is making general statements and waiting for confirmation from the one who's being read.
Since you (and I and all other humans) have a tendency to look for confirmation, well-chosen phrases can sound like miracles.

The majority of them just pick general statements and then refine them to make it look as though they have hit the target straight away.

You only need to look at someone like Paul McKenna, who deliberately debunks his supposed psychic ability by showing exactly how he does it.

Read what weatherman answered its true. LOL the psychic on Montell show was wrong about how a person died. WAY OFF!!! How embarrassing!!!

Kind of- sometimes you know they're making it up and sometimes, it sound very real. I guess it depends on which ones you go to.
