With spiritual power one wants to go beyond the material world, not display one's skill of walking on water.

Walking on the water is material power. By exercising the material powers one is rotating in the cycle of birth and death in the material world undergoing the dualities of suffering and happiness. By yogic powers which are eight in number one can become smaller than the smallest (anima), bigger than the biggest (mahima), lighter than the lightest ( laghima), can control the things (vasitva), can achieve what one wants (prakamya) etc... , but ultimately all these material magics are temporary and one has to leave everything behind at the time of death.

Therefore, one should practice spiritual life, being free from material contamination go back to the eternal spirtual world.

Sure, with my strong spiritual power I get a sail boat on water and do it almost every week. (Weather permitting)

I noticed that if you know how to swim, less spiritual power is needed.

I've travelled under water and on water a lot of times ever since my teenage years. Just last week I did. But not everybody can do it. Please do not try this. It takes years of spiritual experience to do it. Those without this experience should stick to boats.

Shark,

Spiritual power notwithstanding, you, and any others may use the bathroom wherever you please...just know there are legal ramifications in dropping trou in front of a large crowd at any given beach.

Like walking on water? No.

You can use a boat or swim anytime but neither of those require a belief system of any kind.

Have you seen someone "go" on water? Aren't you pushing the absurd here?? Ice or boat, that's the reality of it!

Nah, all you need is a boat or some floating device to keep yourself afloat. And being able to swim helps too!
