Look all around to these Anti-Islamists Christians, what is your opinion on them? Why do they attack Muslims so much?

Why do they claim things they have no idea about?

Well, first it's not just Christians that attack Islam and Muslims. It's people all over the place, religious or not, Christian or not. I think make unfair generalizations and become judgmental of others based on the actions of a few. It is certainly hypocritical of Christians who do this (I am an agnostic-atheist). However, I think most people have at some time or another, with the influx of disturbing information and events, been judgmental with regards to the religion of Islam. For many, it's just a momentary, judgmental lapse. For many others, it's a constant. Either way, its unfair, but such is reality.

I will admit that with the events of 9-11 and the war in Iraq, I have been momentarily judgmental. But I realized the stupidity of that view. As for Christians, I think it's even worse when they are so judgmental because they are supposed to be the religion of love, right? It doesn't add up. But, again, I won't generalize about Christians hating Muslims, because while many do, there are many more that don't.

Christians are very much for god and country. They hate pretty much anyone the govt tells them too. I personally think they're all about the same. The only difference to me between a fundementalist blowing himself up in a market along with everyone else there and a guy who blows up an abortion clinic is that at least were rid a the first.

As far as your last question, the christian church is the biggest propaganda machine in the history of man. The worst part is the folks in that religion have been raised to do as their told since they were born, so... In the words of an early day chirstian,"Kill them all, god will know his own."

As atheiest we believe that religeon is used as a tool to make people ignorant and narrow minded they are brainwashed into only beleiving what they have been told even when there is evidence that proves them wrong.

Thy do not want to understand what you believe, but they are also not willing to accept that it is ok to beleive whatever you want, the same way finatical Muslims want to impose their beleifs onto th world, so to do Christians etc. So entertaining the idea that your religeon is OK will undermine them.
The Church makes lots of money from ignorance.

Prejudice: coming to a judgment on a subject before learning where the preponderance of evidence actually lies, or forming a judgment without direct experience.

P.S - Don't worry, Mate! If they're not hating the Muslims, they're hating us Atheists. That's life, I guess?

The ones that attack Muslims are the same ones who attack anyone who doesn't believe the same things they believe.

May I answer even though I'm not an Atheist? :-)

I've noticed that many of these fundie Christians are on the war-path against you guys. Why? I think it is because they feel threatened by you. They do not want to admit that your faith is more internally consistent than theirs and that Islam is more in the spirit of honest love of God than theirs.

I think it's just a hot topic now in the world, and it will pass. Don't worry, masses of people will find someone else to be "anti" soon enough! :)

They think they have the right religion and everyone else is wrong. Possibly it's made worse by the common factors in both religions - belief in Jesus etc. They see their own beliefs distorted and that may be worse than seeing people believe something completely different to what they believe (e.g. Hindus).

The answer is there in your question itself. You are calling anti-islamists as atheists. Its wrong. Muslims like you cant cope with other's belief, faith and worship. You are asking for dejection. And its your fate.
