i'm a 2nd language speaker of english and that i think of english isn't that easy yet no longer that difficult the two. maybe it rather is because of the fact i began gaining expertise of it when you consider that i replaced right into a touch youngster. the brick partitions in english maybe are = a million. you do no longer pronounce a word merely like the letter sounds interior the english alphabet. properly, think of approximately spanish.. 2. some grammar 3. extensive determination of vocabs each language has its very own problems.

It depends on how rich your vocabulary is. If you are a person that reads pretty often your brain will automatically recognize the words according to their context. The same happens with differente languages. English has a very simple grammar. However, it has a lot of irregular verbs, making it very hard to learn. Spanish also has a simple grammar. However, all those tenses make it a little complicated to learn. Spanish has around 22 different tenses and modes as far as I remember, and not even the native speakers know them all.

No, English is not the hardest language to learn as there is no such thing as the hardest language, or let's say the difficulty of a language is relative...English maybe the hardest language to learn for you but not for another person. It depends on your native language. If your native language was Dutch, for example, learning English would be easier for you than learning Japanese (we're not talking about the writing system here, it's the structure what I mean). And, at the same time a Turk would find learning English more difficult than learning Japanese as English and Dutch are structurally similar whereas Turkish and Japanese are structurally quite different than English and Dutch.

English is incredibly hard to learn because it is so simple compared to other languages. I am currently learning Spanish and find it so easy once i get my head around the grammar and verb groups that English does not have. If we were all taught proper grammar, we would all be able to learn other languages sooooo much easier.

Wow, well done!
Nice list!
You demonstrate clearly that English spelling is inconsistent with its pronounciation.
Here's one that annoyed me in school:
I read the book.
So, do I read (as in 'reed') the book?
Or have I read (as in 'red') it?
The context of the sentence, or in this case the story, tells you how certain words are pronounced.
I don't think it means that English is hard to learn, but it does mean that its spelling and pronounciation are two different things.
