Hi,
I recently accepted a job offer from a US based Company.
The company will begin the H1B visa petition this
coming April 2007. At the time of filing (April 2007)
my civil status is still Single, however i am getting
married on May 2007. Me and my wife to be are both
located in the Philippines. Now my question is, what
are the necessary steps needed for my wife in order
for us to go to the US together? Assuming that my H1B
visa is approved by october 2007.

Hope you can shed light into this inquiry. Thanks.

Thanks for all your replies. Once i have my H1B visa and start my petition to my spouse (H4). How many months or years would it take for the US immigration to approved my H4 petition? Thanks.

She'll just need to take your H-1B Petition, her passport, and the marriage certificate to the visa interview. You do not need to be there.

It is quite simple. She just applies for an H-4 visa, making an interview appointment the same way you did, and showing your own existing visa and your marriage certificate.
