I mean, true, the belief in Jesus as part of the Holy Trinity is a basic element of our faith, but it is also true that embracing that belief without following His teachings as a way of life, is a serious lack. So, if indeed He had a son (or daughter); if indeed he did marry (which I bet my life He didn't); what is the significance of all that, regarding the genuineness of His teachings? Does it nullify any of it? In my view, those allegations are nothing but malicious attempts against Jesus Christ and His Church, which haven't ceased since this body came to existence, and against which "the gates of hell will not prevail", because He knew beforehand that those gates were opened even before His time on earth, and warned us so we can expect those gates to be opened even wider in our present time, and so, if you ask me, this is just another "gate of hell", bursting with vile malice aimed at the disfiguration of Jesus' divine image. Yeah, there's none else behind it than that old serpant.

Trinity, Hell, Jesus having a son? You Catholics are going to accept that twisted lie too?

I think that these kinds of attacks can be classified under false prophets. There were false prophets before Jesus was born and today isn't any different.

On the other hand I'm starting to see that we all need to be reading the Bible way more to help us do our parts in the Kingdom of God. Which spreading the Way, the Truth, and the Life (Jesus and his teachings) is a way to help counter such situations.

If I believe in God and believe that Jesus is the son of God, it is not conditional upon whether he married or not or whether he has descendants or not. It is immaterial whether some one finds some clues that he thinks that Jesus was married and had a baby. My God remains God whatever is the historical truth. I would be happy if I know that someone among us is a descendant of Jesus though that does not make him/her superior to me.

Ermmmm

Surely the belief in Jesus having a child was that it was a girl, not a boy.

But as you say so what, if Jesus, the normal person what the myths are based on, had children they were just normal human beings.

Jesus was both God and man. What difference would it make if he had a son or was married? Nothing! It would not change Christianity's belief that he was true God and true man.

well, friend...
you do seem to get a bit "runny" with the sentences...but all that aside....I really don't listen to all these Jesus accusations..

like you said...they're malicious....
it does appear that so many now a-days are looking for "hard evidence" and reality with scientific fact...OK let them look...
But...I know ...Jesus Lives! Hallelujah !

Jesus didn't get married nor did He have children. Jesus was and is sinless. It's like you said, satan is behind all of that.
