Well I have older sisters and I can tell you the reasons why I annoyed them was because I either wanted there attention or to spend time with them and couldn't find any other way. Or because it was funny to see them get mad. Maybe you should try spending time with your younger sibling(s) like pick a day out of the week and spend time with them maybe they'll annoy you less.

Because they can? My brother use to follow me around like a shadow till I got
fed up with it. He is a year younger than me which puts him at 64. Haven't seen
him in years as we live in 2 different countries. The nasty stuff he did I could
have cheerfully rung his neck. There's also the thing called sibling rivalry. He
was the fair haired boy, could do wrong, or at least that's what my Dad thought.
He now knows different. He had rickets as a baby and was spoiled and pampered and I was thrown aside like an old shoe. It doesn't bother me, just
consider the source.

Because they see you or an older sibling as someone to play with and get attention from or love from when the parents are busy, or they're bored.

Because the older sister is so critical, demanding and controlling, that the younger will do anything to get her own back.

I have two younger siblings and they told me it's to get my attention. Don't worry, they eventually grow out of it and aggravate you in other, adult ways.

it could be their way of showing that they love you. mine are like that all the time... sibling rivalry...because they can, and know so much about you. or they're bored, and have nothing else to do with their time.

They are bored with nothing to do and want you to spend more time with them and play with them so they don't have to be bored.
