everyone grows up and sometimes you grow apart
especially if you live in another state.
I still think that family is important and you should keep in
contact with your family.

Yes. My sis always takes. A couple of times in my life when I have needed her to be supportive of me, she was the first one to desert me. My mom tried the 'she's younger and imature and she the only sister you'll ever have' guilt trip on me. (my sis is 28 !! )

But I have decided that my life is too short to be spent with people who bring nothing but negativity in my life. These things happen.

yes i do understand 100% i live in syd and have 2 sisters i dont speak to either one of them and have not for at least 3 years all because i dont let them to push me around and allow them to trerat my kids like slaves
I have learned to move forward and just love the family i have got near by me

ya, i have grown apart from my sister and i think its because she is a femnazi now and is mad hating about everything right wing and because i am republican i can tell she thouroughly dislikes me. she just cant get past the fact when we hang out, i dont dislike her at all, but if someone pushes me away im not gonna fight to stay with them.
