I wouldn't avoid the beliefs, but the faulty system. Can you condemn the teachings of the religion because fallible humans muck it up, like we always do?
It seems as though there we would have to avoid every single belief system if some believers act in a contradictory way. There are hypocrites and bad people in every religion/system. I think we need to follow the system that is right for ourselves, and focus on our own behaviour, not concern ourselves with the actions of others.

No because we choose a belief system that most closely matches our own spiritual experiences and it is through the chosen belief system that we explain to others our spiritual experiences. If you can still explain your spiritual experiences without the belief system and choose to, then that is also an option, but it is never necessary or advisable to avoid the belief system simply because some who claim to also be a part of it do not seem to be following it. Instead we should follow it to the best of our ability and be the best representative of the system that we can be and do our best to remind people that A) there is diversity within every belief system and B) that even though a few may claim a belief system and then act completely contrary to it, that does not mean that the belief system is not valuable for others who do better represent the system.
Great question.
Peace be with you

properly, a perception is something somebody believes, be it real or fake. have faith it or no longer, there are people who have faith that the earth is flat. (The Flat Earth Society) that's their "perception." hence, every physique who would not have faith in a god is an atheist and that's one among their ideals and a evaluate their perception device...end of tale. As for the "elegance and fact" of your very own perception device, you're heavily defective. I somewhat have heard that many human beings on acid adventure a very eye-catching reflects of coloration and extreme emotional reviews with profound consequences. Tat would not make what they're doing stunning neither is it something I somewhat have any activity in attempting. It somewhat doesn’t make their movements or their perception that their movements are ok...the certainty. Your bible or the Quran or despite holly e book you subscribe too might convey you some form of convenience and you will possibly be able to locate some elegance in that's pages, yet that would not make all of it peaches and it somewhat would not make it real or the certainty. This absurd concept that any one's ideals must be generally taking place as fact is assigning. in case you % to perception a lie, that's your prerogative and that i've got no longer any stunning to stay away from you from believing what you desire. yet purely as I scoff on the acidheads and pot heads and alcoholics for waiting their lives and the adults which could’t differentiate between technology fiction and certainty and spend limitless hours an afternoon enjoying video games for an identical reason, so too do i think approximately people who might placed faith in such an antiquated and ridiculous concept as god. ~~

If people behave horrifically in the name of religion, then that religion is severly flawed.
If people use religion as an excuse to act out their already present personality defects then both the person and the religion is at fault. The religion for preaching atrocity, and people for using its dictates and dogmas as a way to avoid taking responsibility for thier own warped minds.
Although I'm spiritually inclined in the way of nature, humanity and the like, I do not and never will believe in organized religion. For one thing, it plays a big part in world destruction, violence, distorted personalities/perceptions and all around chaos. And to answer you question, I don't think it's healthy for anyone to believe in any "system" which proves itself to cause harm.

No, but unfortunately that is exactly what happens. People criticize, and denounce Christianity because of some who act contradictory to the teaching. Not all Christians are hypocrites, but people feel compelled to label them as such, because of a the ones that are.

I will use a parallel. If you like having your hair done, should you stop going to all haridressers because one of them is a lousy bum who doesn't know how to do a proper permanent?
