i have met Muslims who have converted to Christianity - that does mean they are Muslims no longer and tend to attend a christian place of worship instead. age can vary - but the best age is the age you are today

when someone becomes a christian that means they have taken Jesus Christ the son of God as their means of salvation and forgiveness of sins because of his death on the cross and resurrection on the 3rd day - all of which the Islamic faith denies. so you cant really be both whatever your parents were - at some point when the two faiths collide then a person (a man or a woman) has to make that decision for themselves

by your second question ' are there christian churches in Islam' i am not sure if you mean by christian churches in Islamic countries? or are their 'christian mosques'?

to answer the former part - some middle eastern countries do have a church that has been established for many years in some cases - including many Israeli Arabs, Baghdad has a church in too that i have heard of, and there are probably more than i have heard of

I'm not from Islam, so I don't know about Churches there, but any person can convert to Christianity, at any point in your life. You are Christian if you believe in the teachings of Christ. Simple as that. :)

In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful
First of all sister if you are really a Muslim, who wants to
convert to Christianity then as a christian who Reverted to
Islam I am saddened to know, tnat you are moving away from
light into darkness. But if you are someone trying to catch fish
then know that Allah the almighty is the allseeaer and the all
knower.
The holy Quran tells us in chapter,3, verse 19;'The only
Religion in the sight of God is Islam''[subnitting to the will of
Allah the one God]
Again in chapter,3 verse 85. God says '' If any one desires a
religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him, and
in the Hearafter, he will be in the ranks of those who have
lost.[ their selves in the hellfire]
so sister if there is something that you cannot understand
about Islam or have some negative thoughts or doubts go to
the nearest Islamic centre and clear your doubts and
misconceptions, but do not be influenced by the media or
the wolves in sheeps clothing. If you like to kindly add some of
your doubts as additional details to your questions and i will
be glad to answer you.May Allah preserve you in his deen.

To convert, you will have to visit a church and ask a priest, he will then bless you with Holy water and give you a Christian name

Why would a Muslim woman want to convert to Christianity ? What is it, a fashion statement ? A Muslim convert is a "Murtad" therefore is a "Kafer" a non-believer.

Women in Islam
Their Status, their Rights and dispelling the Misconceptions

Misinformation and misconception about Muslim women proliferate in the world today among non-Muslims and Muslims. We hope that instead of falling into the typical stereotypes and cultural innovation, the information here will pique your interest and help you to understand the true stance Islam takes on gender issues and the role of women.

For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in God's praise -- for them has God prepared forgiveness and great reward. [The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 33, Verse 35 ]

Her position in early Islam was really an exemplary one, one that should be studied and known by every woman as well as every liberationist in the twentieth century--in America as well as in the Muslim World. The Muslim woman, if she is true to the principles of her religion, has lessons in equality to teach the Westerner, and her descendants in the East have to learn anew the role demanded of them by their religion. Orientalists and orientals zealous for modernization should cease to put the blame on Islam, a blame which instead deserves to fall on their own ignorance of the faith and on the political and social decline which their nations suffered in the past. -- Lois Lamya Al-Faruqi Women, Muslim Society and Islam

Hence it should not be a surprise that for every 10 converts to Islam 7 are women.
