I need to know how to paint by hand on plates without the paint chipping away. Is there some sort of sealer i can put on the plate or something?

The lady, Donna Dewberry, who does one stroke painting has a line of paints and sealers out for painting on plates, and other glassware. She also has instructional books out that will help you. You can go to her web site, or search Joanns or other craft stores.

Go to your local craftstore.There are many ceramic paints readily available. Just remember to get the non-toxic kind.
