How can people consider themself educated or having a clue about things unless they check links in posts?

The purpose of links in posts is to act as evidence,
show where people are comming from,
Show why people think the way they do,
change the way people think
Show the reality of things
To back up what they are saying.

Or show up organisations people may think are all moral and the basis of their thinking as to what they really are about.

So how can people say oh we are not checking links and think they have a right to an opinion without checking all the evidence?

Is thet not total ignorance or judging people without haveing a clue what they are are talking about.

Like in posts below many thought they shouls not check all the links so how are they supposed to know what they are no about or feel educated?

Likewise when they make decsions that affect others. How do they make the right ones.

*****

Is the reason becuse they are in the wrong and checking the links would prove them wrong so they hide from them.

Bit like someone suppressing evidence in a court of law?

****************

Well yeah would know it all if people dont see links

Now if they have gone though liknks and evidence then they have the right to disaggree or post links and evidence of their own.

Then they have made an informed decision

To the person who posted one on abortion.

Thats a good example.

People should see links to both sides...

Ie see the pics of the abortions but also see all the abuse adopted kids suffer and what happens to most in kids homes.

Plus how having a kid ruins a teenagers life and how this in turn often ruins a kids future say in gang and druggy estates. when the mother struggles to look after them and better on all she lost out on.

Then links showing how older mothers and fathers in more stable realtioships with experience often make better parents

Ie all the info.

Plus links on back street abortions or 3rd world streets flooded with unwanted kids due to lack of contraception and abortions.

Where the kids survive by pleasuring peadofiles paid in glue.

church support for child rape

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23369148-details/Pope+'led+cover-up+of+child+abuse+by+priests'/article.do

or what adoption is about

'The Magdelen Sisterss' should be in your video shop but the tv drama 'sinners' was more accurate if you can find it.
over 30,000 were involved up till 1996...how old were you at that time?
How many of your friends, you or your sister could have ended up here.

Abusing, raping, and ripping the babies from the arms of 30,000 girls up to just 10 years ago

http://www.thewildgeese.com/pages/magdalen.html

http://www.netreach.net/~steed/magdalen.html

As done by the church that many anti abortionists are part of.

Now you could add abortion pics, and detailes on back street abortions, foster kids etc.

The more info from ALL sides makes for better decsions

To the poster who says do I beleve links I see on the net.

Actualy I follow up documentries and news reports, and other human rights info first.

then seek out links for the photos and videos and more info.

So yeah as they are only backing up what I already know ...

bit like adding pictures.

Or as people say here my grammer and typing sucks so that way others explain it better with dates etc etc

Or get stuff from friends who were hurt but their opinion did not count. reserach and evidence does.

i put links on my answers to show people that is where i got my answer and I'm not just talkin outta my *** on a topic and in the hopes that they will click on it and learn more about what they are asking its that the reason for the question in the first place to get information on the topic ??
I'm not sure why you are so angry but please don't take the things people do or say on here to seriously it is the Internet

Many people will not check a link just in case you are downloading some sort of virus, abusive information or picture. Some peole will not provide a link because not all questions need a link or the person has put their source of information down weither it be experience or they are qualified to do so.
You cant tell people what to do people have to make up their own individual minds and use their own common sence when reading answers to their question.
Life experience my friend stands for a lot more in some cases than any degree anyone has.
Some questions do not require a link simple as that and some do. I myself do not give links because the type of questions I answer do not require them or I simply tell them to check out certain things.
You need to put this question in pyscology section my friend or have you already in every section so people reply?
I would also like to add good thought provoking question.

Well, First of all, I don't believe everything I read on the Internet. Second of all, I'm very interested in adoption but I have no interest in a newborn. I'd like to rescue a sibling group from the foster care system, and the current one we're looking at has 6 kids. 3rd, I was 27 in 1996, if that really matters.

I'm not interested in following links from someone who rants and raves about Lord knows what, because I don't know what you're trying to download onto my PC. It already goes slow enough without your help. Thank you.

it's just as bad when people make comments about parenting when they haven't got children themselves!! You can't possibly have any idea about that subject when you have no experience of it...and having nieces/nephews/done some babysitting etc is nothing like being a parent.

So what you are saying is that unless we read YOUR links that you put in YOUR posts then we are all clueless and uneducated?
Thanks so much for enlightening me on my ignorance.

You fill your posts with so much waffle and rubbish and ranting, and you honestly expect people to listen to what you are saying?
Coming from someone who has no basic grasp of the English language, I can't say I am ever inclined to listen to a word you say.

i've got no longer gained one approximately Hillary yet, yet i've got gained on the factor of 35 or forty telling me that Obama is a Muslim or Islamic or a radical Islamic. individually, i do no longer want any e-mails on Hillary or Obama as they're all lies. that is pathetic.
