ok, i live in the usa....i currently have an ohio drivers license. However, I recently moved to virginia. my license is due to expire in a few months. will i be able to just go to the dmv in virginia and renew it or will i have to take a test of any kind?

http://www.dmv.state.va.us/webdoc/moving/newva.asp will tell you what you need to know to get your license in VA.

It will also tell you how to transfer your vehicle registration.

Depends on how recent you moved to Va.
If it was within the last 30 days, they will renew it.

Depends on who is on shift that day and if you get unlucky.

I wouldn't wait until the last day in case they make you pass a written that you're not ready for.

I believe that you will have to take the test again. Each state has different requirements. And laws..
