It's not like people have never heard of Christianity, which is the biggest religious group that is trying to convert people. It is not like we don't have churches in every town in the free world. It is not like there isn't a Bible in just about every public library. It is not like there isn't an internet with an endless supply of religious websites. It isn't like no one has heard of Christianity or what it means to be a Christian or who Christ was.

I can understand religion trying to conver when a religion is just starting to become popular. But what is the point once everyone knows about it already? Is it that those who try to convert do so because they can't stand having people around with different views and beliefs?

It's called legitimacy in numbers. The more people who subscribe to their beliefs, the more valid they think their myth is.

That's why if someone finds out you are an atheist, everyone tries to convert you. Then thay can say "see, someone who didn't beleive now does, what more proof do you need". You get used to it though.

they believe that people arent' going to read the bible or just be ignorant to it. But they fail to realize that they are the ones being ignorant towards life by focusing on their OWN religion and disregarding all other forms of belief.

I want to know how many of these so called christians actually read a book on evolution. It dosent' seem fair that others should read their bible..while they dont' read anything that goes against their beliefs. seems hypocritical to me.

all through the ages there have been judgement periods...adam and eve in the garden....noah and the flood...lot and sodom and gomorrah........christs day....events that led to only one way to be saved.......
We are now living in another judgement period....there is only one way to be saved.....God's way....He tells us to accept Jesus as our savior That Jesus taught us who to worship and how his father would show mercy to all those sighing and crying over the detestable things happening. He says to meet with his people.....who are his people?
The jews used to be his people....they killed Jesus....so God turned his attentions to the nations to take out of them a people for his name. What is Gods name?
Jehovah
What religion uses God's name?
Jehovah's Witnesses.
Wouldn't it be a shame after being sent 2x2 to your door for so many years trying to get you to listen and you keep saying no.
You have heard it all before huh?
Did you know Noah preached for 40 years?
They wouldn't listen to him either.
Almost 2000 years have gone by since christ was here preaching the end. God has been patient with you.
It will be too late for you to find the right way when christendom falls...and there will be no more religions.
Then the great tribulation will be upon you and there won't be anything you can do.
So learn now how to save yourself...only by taking in knowledge of God and his son christ

I think you mistook access to Christianity with knowledge about Christianity. Even with all the availability, many nonbelievers are very ignorant of the contents of the Christian faith. In any case, Christians are called to preach the Gospel, and no website is a substitute for the verbal proclamation of the Good News.

Why does this bother you so much? Do you believe in God? And that Jesus died on the cross to pay for your sins? And that Jesus is Lord? If you believe this.... it doesn't matter what "religion" you are. The Lord just wants a personal relationship with us all......like He is your best friend. Talk to Him about everything.... and I mean everything... the good as well as the bad.....and see what happens.
