It don't matter. As long as you carry on with the diet the next day its fine. I joined slimming world a year back and they told me this advice as i had a birthday and a meal one weekend. Good luck

Forget it, yesterday is as over as the crimean war. If you want to have sucessful long term weight loss then the changes you make to you eating habits have to stay with you for life. Guess what, occasionally you are going to have a chinese takeaway and fish and chips in the same weekend. It's not what you do one weekend that makes you fat its what you do every weekend.

Get the situation in perspective, in order to put on a 1lb in actually fat you need to eat approximately 3400 calories more than you have used. That's a lot of calories.

Get back on track now and don't give the weekend another thought. It's gone.

You could either go for a power walk today or go to the gym if you are a member of one. Apart from that I wouldn't beat myself up about it. Just go back on the diet and carry on, we all slip up sometimes just think of it this way you treated yourself and now you are back on the diet and you will be back on track

first of all, get back on your diet ASAP and don't look back. Next, add a few extra things in your workout (not too much though). Or if you don't have time, do little things to mentally make up for it like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or walking to the convenience store or something.
