Hate to say it, but any 20 year old fighter set up for radio or computer control would give the F22 problems. The HUMAN factor limits fighters to a 9 G turn. The F16 for example is capable of pulling a 12 G turn but is limited by what the pilot can take. Remove the pilot and the plane can do more.
FYI, I think the F22 program will be cut to 100 planes like the B1 bomber and the JSF will be the last manned fighter made. After that, it is UAVs all the way..

Well if the pilot in the F-22 really sucks just about any last/current generation jet fighter could. Same for if the F-22 was unarmed.
Really there is none, besides the remote controlled option listed previously.
Just goes to show where your money goes to be wasted, why not a replacement for the M16, or better armor for troops or HMMWVs?

The might of the F/A-22 has so far been in paper and theories. It is yet to fight a modern adversary flown by a modern nation with competent pilots and till then we can just go about arguing.
Check out the link below to see an alternate description. The footnote # 5 is interesting (5 After Germany opted for high technology in tanks and aircraft in lieu of numbers, they handily lost the war)
About the Red Flag: So the F/A-22 won against a generation older Falcons and Eagles. But isnt the F/A-22 made for the future? Shouldnt it be tackling the MiG-35 or the Su-35s, supported by the SA-21 "Growlers"? Because thats the future combat arena, the MiGs and Sukhois would come in their H/K -bistatic radar configurations, the Growlers working to eliminate the AWACS support and force the Raptor to go active.

F-18 is still working on it by trying to add new features faster than the F-22.
Basically the differences are that the F-18 is a little less stealthy and a ton less expensive.

Given equally capable pilots there's probably nothing to touch it right now. Close range one of the later Russian variants might have a chance, but BVR the low RCS will make it a hard target.

Never saw the F-22 but if its advanced then its the top of the line. The Gov't would never spend Billions$$$ to only find that it is inferior or to say the least in close competition with something else. It has to be the best period.
