I got talking to one man who said he was a bachelor or biology, he was interested in biology alright but he didn't want it to be theoretical. Does anyone know a good website where I can talk to genuine, intelligent men about the likes of chaos theory ... Schrodinger's Cat ... bulks and branes etc?

I can't do a uni course, I tried to get on an access course but I have to work and I wouldn't have got to half the lectures and pubs and I don't mix. Oh well, I just want to have an email/pen pal type thing going.

Why don't you hang out at a bar near a Uni where people are studying this type of thing.
It is a bit too specific to meet someone with this interest on the internet I think.

I feel for you. Why don't you google this? There are plenty of internet forums and chat rooms dedicated to these things, I'm sure. Also, why not take a course at a University, or try to socialize there, go to the library etc. Good luck!

You're looking in the wrong places, obviously. The most likely place to find one is on a university course, as far as I know they don't ban girls from joining.
If that is not an option then join Mensa - most of their meetings are held in pubs.
