Is it really a date?

So if you like a guy and he likes you too. but none of you have confessed the feelings to each other. so maybe the feelings are totally one sided, but the hints are kind of hard to ignore

but you both are really good friends
so if you guys go out to have coffee or eat dinner one on one, would they be called "dates"?
why or why not?
the reason i am asking is b/c I want to get facts straight about my life. lol I mean I want to know whether I have gone on any dates in my life so far
i'm a girl (the id belongs to my bro)...

Those are absolutely dates. If they are one-on-one and you both like each other, it's a date.

Officially, I'd say no. With all the signs maybe this guy could use a little push. I normally recommend girls not be pushy (but since he seems into you and spends time with you) he may be just a really slow mover.

If you don't know if you've been on any dates, my guess is that you haven't been on any official dates. Just my thought anyway.

Your question made me think about mine I just had. I asked a girl if she wanted to "hang out" but a couple days later I changed my phrasing because I wanted to clarify things. I don't want to hang out, i told her, I want to take you out on a date.
