So, I met this girl at work - (don't worry, we work in different departments) ..and we hit it off. We went out on our first date last week and had an amazing time. It was the best first date I've ever had actually.
Well, now we're talking about becoming officially boyfriend and girlfriend, but she wants to go on a couple more dates before we make it official.
It's not that I'm worried about it working out, because I believe we will become official. I just have problems with waiting because I'm so excited about this girl, and she also says she's excited about me. I just hate waiting !
She's in a busy time with school too, before she graduates so dates are at best once a week maybe. I know, I know, i just need to be patient, but it's so hard!
I want to tell my friends and family about her - but I don't want to until it's official, etc. That's hard. Thanks in advance.

Hey--slow down--she is a busy student --what are you??? You work and are busy too---just let this happen naturally---go on easy dates, have some fun and let nature take its course---can't rush it and can't speed up the process--so don't try--it will show--and probably ruin what you have. I can understand what you are going through--but you have your whole life ahead of you--just relax and let this develop on its own. Smile, be cool, be nice and relax--good luck

You have to be patient, no matter how much you like this girl. If you are pushy, you will freak her out and get labeled as the office stalker. Save yourself. Make her a collage of your love to keep yourself busy. If you let her know you are so head over heels for her. She will know she has the upper hand from the beginning. I am all for love, but you have to pace yourself. I had a guy do that, and even though he was a PERFECT catch, it freaked me out. If you get too caught up in the beginning, the whirlwind will slow down and you will be left feeling let down. Please, Start a stamp collection or learn Japanese, both will take time, Time enough to let her feel comfortable in the LABEL of Girlfriend. DONT be the office stalker, you will never get a date there again .. For future reference, DO NOT DIP YOUR PEN IN COMPANY INK. IT makes for ackward break room chat.

I think its best to wait till its official coz you never know what the future holds for the two of you.
You have to learn to be patient at times,its a virtue and most of the ladies love this quality in a man.This is from a woman's point of view as am one

Wow you're really excited, i can feel that. if she say you wait then wait. Its not bad if you just tell to your family and friends that you like a girl not necessarily you need to be officially on. And since you have faith that you two were going well then just do wait. Goodluck.
