I've just been in an argument with my sister yesterday and we ended up pulling and tugging each other. Now my arms are full of scratches and blisters by her sharp fingernails. Will my arms now have scratch scars for life? What can i do to help it recover it without having scars?

It shouldn't scab as long as they aren't too deep or there isn't a big chunk out of your skin. When I was younger my brothers and I used to get in a lot of fights and I've actually scratched them bad enough to scar them.

But, if they are just some tiny scratches you should be fine though.

Get some neosporine to stop or prenvent infection and get some 100 percent aloevera gel or the actual plant and put it on the scratches on your arms at least twice a day. They will go away.

Generally, in order for skin to scar, you need to take out a fair bit of skin between the two edges of the cut (thats where the scar tissue comes in). I doubt it will scar, but if you're really worried, the only way to really stop scarring is to have stitches done, but I doubt thats needed in your case!

Use the neosporin - very little fear of scars - and don't do this again

take it from a self injurer - scars are not cool
