This could mean a number of things... maybe it took him a long, long time to even get up the courage to ask you to dance. Men aren't always as confident as they try to pretend they are. Try going to the same dance spot again and see if he's there. Maybe this time he will ask for your digits. If not, don't sweat it, there's other fishies in the sea.

could be many things. maybe the guy assumed that you wouldn't give him your number anyways. maybe he just wanted to dance. maybe he has a gf. maybe he's some drunk guy who just pick up any girl in front of him. bottom line is, he's only a guy from the club that you never met, don't give a sweat about him.

He is too polite and for sure a shy guy or perhapes has been burned before and is afraid to to start a new relationship.
Be polite , true and honest.Be comfortable.
Nothing wrong with taking his phone no. and call him for a date ! This may be a good thing.

it means he's not totally interested in you. however it could mean that later he goes....well she sure is a nice girl, it would be nice to have her in my life. then he could look you up, by the way, where are you referring to, are you taking about a club or a school dance?
